Find out more about how to get involved in this website at About Us
What does "Show a loving consideration for all creatures" mean to you exactly in your Quaker way of life? Do you believe that we should be extending our search for "that of God" to all living beings?
Quaker Concern for Animals was set up to protect our fellow animals in 1891 and we are still committed to their defence today.
We are interested to know how the spiritual life of young Friends is being put to the service of other beings:
- do you share your lives with companion animals?
- are you involved in animal welfare and animal rights groups?
- do you volunteer in an animal sanctuary or raise funds for animal protection or conservation?
Would you like to write to us about your interests and concerns, whether personal or group?
We would be happy to make these more widely known either on our web site
http://www.quaker-animals.org.uk/ or in a future issue of our twice-yearly Newsletter.

Envision was founded in 2000 by four young people. The organisation aimed to challenge the general perception that young people are apathetic and disengaged - unconcerned with the challenges that face Britain and the world in the 21st Century. Envision's simple model supports young people to develop the skills, awareness, confidence and motivation necessary to lie at the heart of positive change see also Envision Interactive Site
